AFRICA
In October, '04
T.J. went on his first safari. The plains, mountains, forests, and lakes of
Kenya were the base camp for nearly three weeks. The days were
primarily spent searching for wildlife; studying and photographing various
animals and habitats such as: Leopard, Lions, Buffalo, Giraffe, Cheetah,
Elephant, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk, Oryx, Greater and Lesser Flamingo, and both
species of Rhinoceros. The trip was undoubtedly a life long dream trip come
true. The safari was for amateur and professional artists and was hosted by
internationally renown artist Simon Combes. Be sure to visit our virtual gallery
in the near future to see the East Africa work which will surely inspire T.J.
for years to come.
